The transport of goods and the mobility of people represent two distinct markets that are going through a common epochal transformation, driven by the need to evolve technologically and to act with a view to respecting the environment.
In this context, MAN Truck & Bus Italia and Stipa collaborated in synergy to minimize the environmental impact of participation in these two important events and the related setup.
The House of the Lion will be present at both events with an exhibition area of over 2 thousand m2 where it will present important innovations, including the new eTruck, the first mass-produced electric truck for heavy transport developed and produced by the German manufacturer.
The engineering of the concept and the creation of the stands was entrusted to Stipa, a consolidated partner, among the first exhibit design companies to have achieved ISO 20121 certification for the management of sustainable events. This important milestone represents the culmination of the company's decades-long commitment to evolve into a system compliant with the principles of reuse, recycling, efficient energy management and reduction of waste production, including packaging. The design choices and careful selection of materials will allow more than 90% of the setup to be recovered and/or recycled, a valuable result and in line with the set objectives.
Furthermore, to further offset CO₂ emissions, 200 new trees will be planted in the Stipa Forests located on different continents, bringing global benefits and socio-economic advantages to the Treedom communities involved in their care.
At the end of the events, an engaging video will be produced which will present in detail all the actions implemented. The clip will also include interviews with the protagonists of this initiative, offering a more complete vision of their efforts regarding sustainability in organizing events.
